Brenda Mc Dowell

Psychosexual Therapy offers a cognitive-behavioural programme to address those sexual difficulties that occur as a result of unhelpful attitudes and beliefs which then lead to negative consequences
The main dysfunction that Brenda work with are

  • Erectile Dysfunction
  • Vaginismus
  • Premature ejaculation
  • Orgasmic Dysfunction/Anorgasmia
  • Delayed Ejaculation
  • Lack of Desire
  • Sexual Phobias

Brenda offers an initial session of 1 hour and would recommend that any current partner should also attend to establish suitability and motivation for the treatment. I also offer Psycho-Education and information which is sometimes sufficient to resolve a specific problem. If the dysfunction has its origins within the couple relationship I am also fully qualified to work with the aspect prior to commencing sex therapy.
