Mr Glackin is a Consultant Urologist attending The Newry Clinic. His areas of expertise include:
• Day case urological surgery.
• Investigation of suspected urinary tract cancers.
• Urinary tract infection Kidney stones.
• Erectile dysfunction and penile curvature.
• Male urinary problems related to prostate disease.

Mr Glackin graduated in Medicine from University College Dublin in 1998. He completed his initial surgical training in Belfast. Following this he undertook bladder cancer research at Queens University Belfast and was awarded an MD in 2005. Thereafter, he moved to the West Midlands to take up specialist training in Urology at University Hospital Birmingham. Mr Glackin is trained in day case laser prostate surgery (Greenlight laser prostatectomy).
Mr Glackin has worked for the Southern Health and Social Care Trust since 2012. He provides laparoscopic kidney surgery, endoscopic prostate and bladder surgery and treatment for kidney stones at Craigavon Area Hospital and day case surgery at South Tyrone Hospital.
